One easy step and you have incredible scones that also happens to be gluten free. No chopping butter and other tricks. Made from all natural, non-GMO ingredients.
1 gfGoodies Scone Mix
1 cup (scant) heavy cream, OR use 2/3 cup coconut or nut milk for a lactose-free scone
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Combine cream and scone mix with mixer or by hand just enough until the dough starts to come together. Place dough on ungreased cookie sheet and form a 7”-8” disc. Cut into 8 pie shape pieces separating each piece, optionally sprinkle with sugar. Bake 18-20 minutes, or until light brown. Cool slightly before moving off pan.
Try adding ½ cup of dried cherries or other dried fruit, chocolate chips or nuts. For something special try 2 Tbps of lemon zest or 4 Tbsp diced candied ginger. Have fun with your own creations.
